Fall Smoothie

Cinnamon Apple Flax

 

Serves 1-2 (double the recipe for a family of 4)

Great on its own for breakfast or with a slice of whole grain toast and no sugar added jelly (not sugar-free).

 

1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

+ 6 ounces plain nonfat Greek yogurt

+ ½ cup unsweetened apple sauce

+ 1 tbsp. ground flaxseed

+ ½ tsp. cinnamon

+ 1 tsp. sugar

+ ice to desired thickness
